There’s a great divide of pudding lovers and haters out there. The argument, just as fierce and sometimes feisty like that of whether Sydney or Melbourne is better. On the pudding discussion I have to say, I can take it or leave it. Most times I take it hoping it will be different to last year, but I’ve got to say boiled, strong and most of the time imbalanced fruit doesn’t take the cake for me. So any chance to hijack the dessert table with anything else (read: chocolate), I’m down for that challenge and I accept.
It all started a month or 2 ago and I checked my Instagram referring back to a comment someone had left me on a post. The page refreshed and I was left staring at a chocolatey, decadent, deep cherry red image of the most delicious chocolate cake I’d ever seen. Two words popped into my head: YUM and Christmas.
From that point I started a list of delicious Christmas recipes to make while I’m on holidays this year. Some my own recipes and others a collection I’ve found browsing my new love Pinterest – yeah I’m so late to the Pinterest party.
1. Christmas Pudding
I know, I know. I’ve just told you I don’t really rate pudding and here I am leading with a pudding recipe. It makes the list though as it takes about 5 minutes and requires zero cooking. Simple, healthy and quick, its a tick from Lunch Lady Lou.
2. Paleo White Christmas Slice
3. Buckinis Crusted Raspberry & Chocolate Ganache Tart
4. Chocolate Caramel Nut Clusters
5. Paleo Cherry and Coconut Cakes
