good old chicken broth
You’ve roasted your chook.
Now, you make the broth.
There aren’t many rules with a broth. They need water, some fragrant ingredients and time. A 5 minute job to put together and a good bubble away on the stove. A stock recipe is only one person’s interpretation of what can go in the pot, just remember whatever you’ve got can go in.
This recipe uses our leftover roast chook, by all means use a fresh chook if you’ve got that.
Bubble on the stove or in the slow cooker.
Strain and freeze.
