I burnt down my business (metaphorically of course) - here's what happened
In case you didn’t hear: I burnt my business down (metaphorically speaking).
To do the things I want to do in life - ohhh it’s a long list.
People keep telling me it was such a ballsy move - but I’ve never felt so calm and in the right spot as I do now.
I’ve been what feel likes stuck/busy in a commercial kitchen for 6 years cooking and caring and delivering. I always thought my passion was in the making and the feeding. But it’s in the talking, inspiring, teaching and just creating my art in the only way I know how. COOKING. Oh and in the feeding and in the making - just in a different way.
I’m part cook (self taught), part photographer (self taught), business owner (self taught) and more I’m yet to discover.
Kitchen Saucery is the only experience I’m offering at the moment. We're in week 3, it’s making me so happy. I feel it’s gathering an unstoppable momentum.
It’s a BS free approach to cooking. No rules. No shame. Just real ingredients, your pantry, you and me (and 30 of your closest friends you haven’t met yet). It’s more than cooking though, it’s connection and putting yourself first.
We’re only half way through, but I have a feeling doors will open for round 2 very soon.
So here’s what to expect in LLL land.
Food. Simple to make, always delicious.
Kitchen Saucery. 5 weeks of interactive classes with me, from the comfort of your own home. It's FUN!
Swearing. I can’t edit myself any longer. I think it's high time we keep ourselves and our brands a bit more real.
My journey. I want to tell you about the time I had cancer and how it propelled my life in a different direction. I think I’m almost ready.
Food photography and styling. I’m looking for a mentor - know anyone?
Recipes. I want to share them far and wide and I plan on working with magazines or online spaces, who need people like me to share passion colour and simple food with their audience - know anyone??
In person classes.
Retreats. Want to join me?
I want to thank all of my clients for trusting me to fuel themselves, their clients and teams in the freestyle cooking approach I love so much. It's been an absolute pleasure.
