Chocolate Chunk Bliss Bites
What do you get when you cross some leftover bliss ball mixture with leftover melted chocolate?
Chocolate Chunk Bliss Bites
Ingredients
-
A great bliss ball mixture (it helps if this mixture is already chilled, but not essential)
-
A tupperware container lined with baking paper, I used one that was approx 15cm x 21 cm
Process
-
Scoop bliss ball mixture into container lined with baking paper and squash it down to form and even layer. Place in freezer for 15 minutes.
-
Melt your chocolate using a double boiler.
-
Remove container from freezer and pour half of chocolate mixture over the top. Tilt container to achieve an even coat. Place in freezer for another 15 minutes.
-
Remove container from freezer and check the chocolate is set. If it’s not return to freezer until it is.Otherwise, carefully lift your bliss block out of the container. Peel off baking paper and line the container again.
-
Put your bliss block back in the container chocolate side down. Use remaining chocolate mix and evenly coat again. Place in freezer for another 15 minutes.
-
Remove container from freezer. Make sure the mixture is set properly.
-
Heat a knife under running water and wipe dry. Cut your bliss block into chunks, rectangles or squares.
-
Store in your fridge for a week or 2, or store in your freezer for months. Remove from freezer when you’d like to eat and let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes first.
