All you need are three ingredients and some toppings of your choice to make your own chocolate at home

This recipe is dairy free, refined sugar free and YUM.

It also requires zero effort for leaving the house and going to the shops to buy chocolate. It’s great for an after dinner healthy dessert. Store in the freezer in small chunks for a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cacao powder

  • 2/3 cup coconut oil

  • 3 tbsp rice malt syrup (or to your taste)

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean powder

  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. In a small pot, on the lowest heat, gently melt cacao, coconut oil, rice malt syrup, vanilla bean and salt.

  2. Line a tupperware container, around the size of 2 chocolate blocks with baking paper.

  3. Scatter any toppings you like, then top with half the chocolate. Add more toppings and then the remaining chocolate.

  4. Place in the freezer to set for 20 minutes or so.

  5. Chop into desired sizes and store in the fridge.
This recipe will melt at room temperature, so best to consume straight away, especially on hot days.
